Acadia Equine Rehabilitation is located at Forsythe Farms, a facility dedicated to healing horses. The quiet, low-key atmosphere at this private barn helps horses with restricted exercise stay happier and healthier while healing.
We manage the environment very carefully to avoid the high traffic and resulting stress that can be associated with a training or show barn. Most horses settle in almost as soon as they walk off the trailer.
Forsythe Farms is less than 10 minutes from Colorado Horse Park with quick and easy access to Littleton Equine Medical Center, the nearest veterinary surgical and diagnostic facility. Our central location makes it easy to visit your horse during rehabilitation.
BARN:
- 12x12 box stalls with windows and mats
- One 12x24 box stall for larger horses or foaling
- Hot/cold water wash stall
- Frequently cleaned and disinfected
- Well-ventilated for respiratory health
EXERCISE:
- Attached 60x120 indoor arena; footing treated with Arena Rx® to control dust and provide cleaner air
- 60x180 outdoor arena with sand footing
- Several turnout options, ranging from 12x14 covered runs to 1/4 acre dry lots

- Stalls and turnouts cleaned daily
- High-quality grass hay
